Drugstore Makeup Haul
Recently i thought i might treat my self a little and purchase a few new make up items. Some of these are product that i have repurchased and some are new, however i have had them for around a month now so hopefully can give you my opinion on them as well.
Firstly we have the Rimmel Scandal eyes, precision micro eye-liner. I purchase the Black waterproof one as my eyes water a lot and I need an eye-liner that doesn't run. This product works very well, i have used the same brands jumbo eye-liner before which was great and had very good staying power however the tip was a little too big for the liner that i wanted. So this smaller version is very good and i am really enjoying it so far.
Secondly is a completely new product to me by Seventeen, called Perk and Paint. It is an eye brightener and black liner duo. The eye brightener is a pale pink pencil that is great for the inner corner or lining the water liner to create a very bright, awaken look. The Black liner is a pencil liner great for adding depth to the lash line.
Also by seventeen i thought id try their instant glow, shimmer brick. It highlights your cheekbones and give you a glow which id say is just above natural because of all of the shimmer. However it gives a nice healthy glow and a little goes a long way. I have also used this as eye shadow as the shimmer comes across beautifully. It had four different shades 2 with pink tones and 2 with more bronzed tones. You can either mix them together which makes beautiful blend or use them separately.
Lastly I repurchased a favourite of mine, the Maybelline 24Hour Color Tattoo, in 65-Pink Gold. I use this as my every day shadow, mainly is summer as it is so easy to apply quickly and is natural but looks like you have put time into your shadow. It is great for college as again it is quick, natural and looks lovely. As autumn is approaching i also purchased 70-Metallic Pomegranate which is a berry red with purple tones and 35-On and on Bronze which is a dark gold. Unfortunately the Metallic Pomegranate doesn't suit my skin tone as well as i had hoped however it looks great on my friend who is slightly more tanned.
I hope you enjoyed this haul!
Thankyou for reading,

Bourjous makeup haul
Recently I have began trying out some of Bourjois's products I've never really tried them before but have heard great things so I thought id try them out. These particular products I have had for a few months now so feel I can give my personal opinion on them, to help you guys out if your looking for new products to try! Enjoy:)
So that first product that i picked up was the Bourjois Paris Bronzing powder + highlighter. I have heard great things about the bronzing powder so I thought id try it out. It gives a nice natural looking contour and is almost completely matt which I think best suits light skin tones. The highlighter is also very nice and natural and just adds a small bit of glow to your cheeks again it is mostly matt but has a small bit of shimmer in which is just right for a highlighter. I love that it is a duo as it is really compact and good for travelling. All in all I think this is a really good and compact product for a good price (£7.99).
The second it in the shade 01 this I got for Christmas and is a matt bright green which when I opened look very scary and not like something id ever think of putting on my eyes however I looked up eye-shadow looks using green eye-shadow. It showed that actually lining your top and bottom lash lines looks really nice and is a look alot of make-up artists use. These are both £6.99 separately.
The third product I tried is the volume glamour ultra curl mascara. Personal I had never heard alot about Bourjois mascara but I thought id try it out. I really like it, its not the most magnifying mascara but it has a really natural look about it which is great for everyday use when you want to look put together but not fully made up. It gives you lovely natural curled eyelashes as said on the tin and i will definitely by re-purchasing this now I have tried it. (£7.99)
The last product from Bourjois is the Effect 3D gloss, which says it has volume and shine elixir and balm action moisture which should last for 8 hours. I picked up the colour 05 in Rose hypothetic, which is a rosey pink with a gold hint to it and small sparkles. I love the look that lip gloss's give but usually don't like the texture of them and find them too sticky. This one is still sticky however I feel it has a much nice feel on the lips and after a while doesn't feel like its there. I'm not sure that it lasts for 8 hours but this doesn't worry me too much as the long applier makes reapplying throughout the day easy. It gives a nice shimmery glossy effect that makes you lips pop with just a little hint of colour. (Also £7.99)
I hope you enjoyed reading this. Let me know if you like these type of posts and i will be sure to do more of them for you. Hope this helps some people out and comment any other products of Bourjois that you love.
Thanks,
Love Charlotte-Lily xx
P.S. Please let me know in the comments any good lip gloss's as i'm still looking for more nice colours for summer!

Halloween catwomen costume
Hey guys, so its halloween tomorrow and i havent done one post on it yet whoopss! So here it is a late, simple costume idea.
So if your like me and never know what to be and decide on the last night then heres an simple costume you can do with clothes you probably already have.
All you will need is black clothing i went for a black vest top (newlook) a leather jacket (h&m) some shiny leggings (boohoo.com) and heels (newlook) and some cat ears you can get these from most supermarkets on halloween mine also came with a bow tie which isnt quite catwoman from batman but it looks cute so your choice:) you can make this your own as well, so more practical without heels or a blazer instead of the leather jacket.
I hope this helps some of you with a halloween costume fast:) x

Night time Cleansing Routine
Im really sorry i havent posted in agesssss...
i have typed this blog up about 3 time which my laptop has decided to delete so here we go one more time:)
For everyone (Teenagers especially) Skin care is super important, it helps reduce spots and keeps you feeling super fresh. Personally for me, i find that my night time cleansing routine plays a big part keeping my skin low on spots and fresh.
Today i thought id share my tips and tricks on my Night time skin cleansing routine and what products i use or what you could use. I will be showing you the products that i use however any product similar will be just fine, these are just the ones i've tried and loved.
Eye Make-up remover
Eye make-up remover is an important step with out it you would still have bits on mascara that can hurt your eyes while you sleep. I like to use the Boots Eye make-up remover pads! They are fragrance free and are enriched with vitamins for extra benefits. They are not too greasy like some eye make-up removers i've tried and just glide over your eyes gently. This is only £1.50 for 40 pads, So is a real bargain:)
P.s. I think the packaging might have changed a little bit now.
Cleanser
Cleansing your skin at night is so important. Though-out the day your skin goes though a lot... Not only are your pore clogged up with makeup (if you wear it) but also pollution and other impurities that aren't good for them. I used to use a makeup wipe and think that my skin was perfectly clean, however this is not the case makeup wipes can only remove the top layer of makeup so they don't really help your skin and they don't prevent spots and blackheads.
I like to use the No7 Soft & Soothed, Gentle cleansing lotion! All you do is use around 2 pumps and smooth it into your face, leave for 30 seconds and wash off. It leaves you skin feeling so soft, clean and hydrated. It is also hypo-allergenic so if your like me and have sensitive skin then it is great. This is £8 Boots (drugstore) for a 200ml bottle, which lasts ages, but again i'm sure any cleanser would be just as good:)
Toner
I had only just heard of toning very recently but i'm so glad i did! The results are incredible it got rid of alot of spots and now i only get the odd on very rarely. A toner basically goes deeper into the skin to sweep away anything a cleanser may have missed. Again i like to match this to my cleanser as i think it gives better results so i use the No7 Soft & Soothed, Gentle toner! As i have said this has proven to give superb results on my skin and even some of my friend skins who also tried this out and saw results within days. It is very hydrating and is again Hypo-allergenic so is a really great product. It is also £8 at boots for a 200ml bottle but does last for ages.
Pore-Cleansing Pads
If you feel that your pores still aren't clean enough then these pads are brilliant, they have a slight exfoliate that gets right to your pores and cleans them. They can feel a bit scratchy but they are doing there job. You can usually see a difference in your pores in a couple of weeks and they do reduce pores and blackheads. Unfortunately the ones that i have used are not on sale anymore but the Clearasil daily clear deep cleansing pads are the closest thing to them and these are £4.29 at boots.
After all the cleansing use for favorite moisturizer to hydrate your skin while you sleep, and remember to get lots of sleep to keep your skin looking its best, Night night!
