Halloween catwomen costume

Hey guys, so its halloween tomorrow and i havent done one post on it yet whoopss! So here it is a late, simple costume idea.

So if your like me and never know what to be and decide on the last night then heres an simple costume you can do with clothes you probably already have.

All you will need is black clothing i went for a black vest top (newlook) a leather jacket (h&m) some shiny leggings (boohoo.com) and heels (newlook) and some cat ears you can get these from most supermarkets on halloween mine also came with a bow tie which isnt quite catwoman from batman but it looks cute so your choice:) you can make this your own as well, so more practical without heels or a blazer instead of the leather jacket.

I hope this helps some of you with a halloween costume fast:) x

Duke of Edinburgh

Hey peopless,
Today i wanted to write about something i am very passionate about! I have had great experiences and want to share them with you so maybe you can try it out.
This thing is The Duke of Edinburgh award, i have been doing this for around 3 years now and have completed Bronze and have just finished by Silver expedition. I'm sure lots of you have heard of it but it is a very scary concept, walking for 2, 3 or 4 days and carrying all your food, tents and clothes with you at all times. So today i thought that id talk about my experiences and see if i could possibly change your opinion and see if you fancy trying it. I'm not saying you must do it but here is an insite to what its really like.
So firstly i want to clarify that it is difficult there is no doubt about it, it will test you physically and mentally but that is honestly the only downside.
The positives
Friends- you spend alot of time with these people and get thrown into deep end with them. Together you go though alot of laughs, chats and hard times and you have to support each other every step of the way. You get very close friends with your group and from my experience a DofE friend is a friend for life. They see you at your worst but still love you.
The acheievement- yes the walking is difficult but once you have finished you feel so proud of yourself and everyone in your group, you feel like the whole journey was worth it and that you had a great time.
What you get from it-As well as the experience of it, D of E is an amazing thing to put on your CV and is highly looked upon by all employeers and higher educations as it show commitment, motivation and team skills.
The doubts-
People worry about the camping and the walks, however thats the whole fun of it. It is scary and very much a challenge but thats what makes you stronger as a person.
Sorry that this got very long! I hope that this has helped some of you to make your decision whether you want to try The Duke of Edinburgh award and whether its for you!
Leave a comment on here or message me on twitter if you have any questions or worries and i will try to help:)
Hope you enjoyed this, let me know if you liked this style of blog! Thanks for reading:)

Little Primark haul

Hey guys,
So today I went on a little shop to Primark as I had watched a few hauls online and see some lovely items, how I managed to only spend around £17 I'm not sure, but anyways here are some of the items that I picked up:)

So the first item is this navy boyfriend style tee with white stripes, I think that this is a very simple piece that you can just throw on with leggings or jeans and look put together whilst being comfy. I went for the size below my normal size as I found it was just baggy enough without looking to much. This top was a real bargain at £2.00 in the sale and I can see this being a very well worn comfy top!

The next is this gorgeous kimono, its such a beautiful, colourful, flower pattern and is a lovely fit. It is short sleeved and would jazz up any plain outfit and could be dressed up with jewelry for night time or used as a very casual piece with jeans and a black top, even on holiday over a bikini it would look amazing! I've been looking for a kimono for a while and this is the cheapest (At £10) but also the nicest patterned one i've seen! I saw so many people buying these in the shop so go get one quick before they go:)

The next thing I got was this candle. Now the reason this got my attention was the name! My two favorite smells are vanilla and coconut and you'll never guess what!? This candle is called Coconut and Vanilla cream and honestly smells amazing!! I've had it burning in my room since I got back and have had my family complimenting it all day! Even if that's not your favorite there are loads more scents and in lots of different containers! This style was my favorite with the square glass pot, I think it looks very chic and stylish. This was £2:)

Next was this eye brow pencil, I don't really do my eyebrows often so I never want to spend a lot on a pencil and while surfing YouTube I saw a few people actually recommending the Primark P.S. I brow pencil so for £1 I thought I would give it a try and it is actually good, I mean I'm not expert but it fills in my brows and leaves them looked even and natural I also like the brush on the other side!

This is probably one of my favorite purchases. These nails are soo cute, they are just my style and I really love them! I'm not to much of a nail girl but I like having short really cute nails, and Primark nails are perfect for me there very inexpensive so if I pull them off I can go and get some more and they do the cutest colours and designs for £1 and they are really good quality and do last!

My final purchase isn't the most exciting thing ever, its just these makeup sponges that im going to be using for nail art as they are great for ombre nails and galaxy nails Which I love to do all the time:) these sponges make it a lot easier                                                 and again for £1 are well worth it!

I hope you enjoyed this haul, if you would like me to do more hauls, like maybe a back to school/collage haul, then comment below or tweet me:)
Thanks again for reading this blog it literally is amazing to even have a couple of readers so thankyou:)

Night time Cleansing Routine

Hey guys,
Im really sorry i havent posted in agesssss...
i have typed this blog up about 3 time which my laptop has decided to delete so here we go one more time:)

For everyone (Teenagers especially) Skin care is super important, it helps reduce spots and keeps you feeling super fresh. Personally for me, i find that my night time cleansing routine plays a big part keeping my skin low on spots and fresh.

Today i thought id share my tips and tricks on my Night time skin cleansing routine and what products i use or what you could use. I will be showing you the products that i use however any product similar will be just fine, these are just the ones i've tried and loved.
Eye Make-up remover
Eye make-up remover is an important step with out it you would still have bits on mascara that can hurt your eyes while you sleep. I like to use the Boots Eye make-up remover pads! They are fragrance free and are enriched with vitamins for extra benefits. They are not too greasy like some eye make-up removers i've tried and just glide over your eyes gently. This is only £1.50 for 40 pads, So is a real bargain:)
P.s. I think the packaging might have changed a little bit now.

Cleanser
Cleansing your skin at night is so important. Though-out the day your skin goes though a lot... Not only are your pore clogged up with makeup (if you wear it) but also pollution and other impurities that aren't good for them. I used to use a makeup wipe and think that my skin was perfectly clean, however this is not the case makeup wipes can only remove the top layer of makeup so they don't really help your skin and they don't prevent spots and blackheads.
I like to use the No7 Soft & Soothed, Gentle cleansing lotion! All you do is use around 2 pumps and smooth it into your face, leave for 30 seconds and wash off. It leaves you skin feeling so soft, clean and hydrated. It is also hypo-allergenic so if your like me and have sensitive skin then it is great. This is £8 Boots (drugstore) for a 200ml bottle, which lasts ages, but again i'm sure any cleanser would be just as good:)

Toner
I had only just heard of toning very recently but i'm so glad i did! The results are incredible it got rid of alot of spots and now i only get the odd on very rarely. A toner basically goes deeper into the skin to sweep away anything a cleanser may have missed. Again i like to match this to my cleanser as i think it gives better results so i use the No7 Soft & Soothed, Gentle toner! As i have said this has proven to give superb results on my skin and even some of my friend skins who also tried this out and saw results within days. It is very hydrating and is again Hypo-allergenic so is a really great product. It is also £8 at boots for a 200ml bottle but does last for ages.

Pore-Cleansing Pads
If you feel that your pores still aren't clean enough then these pads are brilliant, they have a slight exfoliate that gets right to your pores and cleans them. They can feel a bit scratchy but they are doing there job. You can usually see a difference in your pores in a couple of weeks and they do reduce pores and blackheads. Unfortunately the ones that i have used are not on sale anymore but the Clearasil daily clear deep cleansing pads are the closest thing to them and these are £4.29 at boots.
After all the cleansing use for favorite moisturizer to hydrate your skin while you sleep, and remember to get lots of sleep to keep your skin looking its best, Night night!

Prom Experience

Prom was AMAZING!
It was such a lovely night.

I was so worried about prom (as you can probably tell from my last Prom Blog) i thought it would be really awkward and no one would loosen up and dance. Not much of our school year got along so i thought there might be alot of bitchiness and meanness but there was none.

Me and about 15 other girls had a double decker red London bus take us to prom and i was amazing to take photos in front of, we also stopped at a park on the way to take more lovely photos. I think that the bus was a great idea as we were all together however transport wasn't a big thing at prom alot of people came in there own car so i wouldn't worry about it too much

We got there and had a few more pictures then went into the hotel which was beautiful! The teachers said hey as we went in.

Everybody looked Gorgeous and had made a real effort! When we first arrived everyone sort of stuck to their tables and had a drink there, but after a while everyone started to go to see different people and places, there was a professional photographer who took amazing photos and if you have one at your prom i suggest getting as many as you can, it is a memory you wont forget. After we eat everyone loosed up and started dancing, the DJ put all the party tunes on and almost everyone was up dancing:) The lads trying to do the macarena was hilarious and people didn't have a care in the world what they looked like it was brilliant!

The main point of this blog was not just to give you a bit of an insite to what prom is about but also to tell you not to worry about it! Its nothing like what you think it will be like! its not scary or awkward its just alot of fun! So i really hope you enjoy/enjoyed your prom as much as i did! Comment/tweet me about your prom experiences id love to know about them:)

Thanks for reading

Prom:)

Heyy guys,
So today i though id talk about proms.
Now i know in America that you have proms almost every year, is that right? not too sure... comment below please id love to know.

But anyways...
Here in the UK we have one main "Proper" Prom which we have once all our exams have finished in year 11.
It is a special time for us as we only get one chance at it and it shows that after that point in our lives, its time to grow up and start joining the real world. It is also one of the last chances you get to see everyone together and looking nice (don't know about you lot but i go to school looking a mess) so it will be lovely to see everyone dressed up and looking pretty:)
I know alot of people have already had their prom, but mine is very soon and i am very excited for it; although extremely nervous because...
 1) I cant walk in heels
 2) I will probably trip over my dress (i'm so clumsy)
 3) I cant dance... so this should be fun!

Dress Shopping
Most girls absolutely loved dress shopping, but i personally hated it. The first day was great i found a dress that i thought i liked had lunch and came home. Not that easy? I got home decided i didn't like it.
So the next day we visited a boutique and i think i pretty much tried on every single dress in the shop and it was a massive shop! Guess what there was one that i liked but it didn't fit right at the alterations would have cost twice as much as the dress, so that was no good!
Day 3 of dress shopping we visited a shopping center and after another day of stressful dress shopping i finally found one, from Lipsy. It is a corally red colour and has a sweetheart neckline with detailing across the top in a cross shaped pattern. On the model it was a ankle length dress but on me it is floor length so that was all good:) My heels are from New look and are silver heels sandal type shoes with silver diamonds all over them:) My bag is from Dorothy Perkins and again is just a simple silver sparkly clutch bag.

Things i plan on putting in my clutch bag

  • Lip gloss,
  • Phone,
  • Camera,
  • Blotting paper,
  • hair bobble,
  • hair grips,
  • Eyelash glue.

These are all for just in-cases and obviously to take lots of photos, its going to be a night to remember!

I really hope you enjoyed reading about my before prom experience, i'm sure i will be writing about it after as well if that's what you would like:)
Also let me know how your proms went and if anything went wrong or if everything went perfectly let me know in the comments, also anyone from America let me know how your proms work and what you do/did for them! Thankyou for reading this it means alot! Comment, Share, Subscribe/ follow! Love you lot<3

Revision:/

Hey guys,
So today i spent most my day revising! woo fun i know aha. Anyways i know how most of my views are probably a similar age to me and how they would be starting to revise for exams as well, whether these maybe GCSEs or A-levels and what ever else there is, i thought i would share some revision techniques with you that i have found useful.

Step 1
Firstly i am a big fan of organisation, and honestly this will be you best friend thought out revision. So before you start organize. Go on a trip to WHsmiths and buy some note books, folders, new pens if your like me i had to go matching, but that's completely up to you! Make sure you get nice ones as these will make you want to revise more. Have one notebook and folder for each subject and organize all you spare sheets into wallets so that they are easy to find and not messily in your books.

Step 2
Stop organizing and get revising!
i was seriously bad at this, id be asked what i was doing and id always say organizing my revision now this is good for a while but i spent weeks when i should have been revising just reorganizing and reorganizing, untill i seriously thought i need to start revsing properly now.

Step 3
Get comfy,
Get set up at a table with everything you need.
θ Drink so you don't get dehydrated
θ a snack (cereal bars are great)
θ All the books that you will need
θ Paper and pens

Step 4
Relax
Always take a break from revising don't pressure yourself to keep going if you need to sleep.
Get at least 8 hours sleep,
Maybe a pamper session on Friday night with friends,
Relax or you will find it more stressful and it's not worth it!

Step 5
Do your best!
That is all you can do,
Revise as much as you can and try your best, don't be put in that position in summer when your saying to yourself I wish I had done more!

I know how stressful this time is, but keep calm and do your best and your all good:) I wish you the best of luck;)

Montagne Jeunesse Face masks

Hey guys,
So i was thinking about what my first blog posts could be and i thought about products that i could review and share with you and this was a product that i tried for the first time the other week so here we go hope you enjoy:)

I was at my friends last week and we were having the general girly pamper night as you do, and she had brought two of the Montagne Jeunesse face masks in Pulped Pomegranate Passion Peel Off and honestly they smelt amazing, and were so easy to apply. It comes out like a gel and you just apply all over your face, once finished you can the relax for 15-20 mins and once it is dry all you have to do is peel it off. They are so easy to use and create no mess what so ever. They also give amazing results, you skin feels so soft and clean.
Each mask gives different results for example the Passion Peal Off gives a'deep cleanse, purity and protect' and it really does what it says,

After my first experience of these i went out to boots and brought some for myself to find that they are only £1 which is amazing for how good they are. I brought 3 other flavors the green tea peel off which is a detox and pore cleansing masque, the Blemish Mud which has Aloe Juice for blemish prone skin and also they Mud Pac for anti stress.

The peel off mask are my personal favorite because of how easy and mess free they are, i my younger cousin stayed round at the weekend and we used them and she loved them too, they are great for sleepovers and pamper nights.
The Mud masks are just as good however i would suggest that they are better for personal uses on you own as they are more messy and take alot more care and time however the results are amazing.

I would recommend these for everyone they are so easy and give amazing results and are also so fun to do:)

hope you enjoyed this review, leave you comments if you enjoy these type of things and other ideas or products you would like me to review thanks Charlotte-lily:)
